Definitions and source details
Delivery: the reported share of eligible loaded manifest shipments delivered no later than 24 hours after the original estimated arrival. It does not measure every shipment or an exact-on-time arrival rate.
Local service uses a fixed 12-hour window from the planned job start. Delivery is within 24 hours of the original estimate; this is not CSX Trip Plan Compliance.
System percentages are reported by the carrier. We do not average divisions or weeks, since underlying counts are not supplied. Gaps are preserved and no trend line bridges withheld observations. CPKC’s earlier and mixed-method weeks, delivery measure and undefined amendment-code records are withheld. UP’s revision timing remains unresolved, so its values appear as unconnected points without weekly changes.
Amendment codes 0 and 1 mean original and amended in the collection-specific filed instructions, labeled draft. Code 2 is undefined; its eight records are withheld. The currently linked data begin June 27, later than the first week mentioned in the draft instructions.
