These are public freight filings, not a service-quality ranking. Carloads and tons are sums of four reported traffic flows. Revenue is reported in nominal U.S. dollars. Missing components stay unavailable; they do not become zero.

Commodity groups are not added to create the total. Confidential reporting can limit public coverage. CN’s 2025 quarters use the revised filings; a revision is not growth over time.
